Here are the top three stories today in Philadelphia:

  1. A Philadelphia man died a few feet from his home Tuesday night. Police said about 17 shots were fired at the man near his home along Walker Street in northeast Philadelphia. Officers responded to a call around 10:30 p.m. and rushed the bleeding 34-year-old to hospital, where he died shortly thereafter. Witnesses told police that three men approached the victim before the shooting. (NBC 10 Philadelphia)
  2. Police are investigating a suspicious death after the body of a man was found floating in the Delaware River. The body was found near Bydsburg on Wednesday morning, near 3200 blocks of Bockius Street. As of Wednesday evening, no further details were released. The police are asking anyone with information to come forward. (CBS Philly)
  3. Taco bout a good time! The Philly Taco Festival is back after an epidemic hiatus. The fifth annual festival will take place July 30 and 31, featuring 75 different tacos, thirst-quenching margaritas, and live entertainment for everyone.
