How to make the Mississippi Valley fair favorites

If you consider yourself a chef or have been craving MVF food, we’ve created a list of 10 fair foods you can make at home. You should have most of these cookware at home for food preparation but double-check before purchasing the ingredients.

We’ve created this list based on our list of the top 5 Mississippi Valley favorite foods in the Quad Cities. There are some foods on that list that you need to go to a restaurant for, but you can make some at home. We also looked at the Fair Food Vendor’s menu to see what other favorites are out there that you can eat.

We want to make sure you don’t burn yourself or your home when making some of these foods.

  • Start Put water on grease fire.
  • If your kids want to help, make sure you as an adult do the cooking part. Let them help mix the mixture or put butter on things.
