5 things to know about Austin food: Komé opens dining room after two years

One of the best Japanese restaurants in Austin had a busy few months. komi He revived his airport concept Sushi A Go-Go in May, and now Airport Boulevard Restaurant is transforming from pandemic-era dining into a full-fledged dining experience. The restaurant, which switched to takeaway only in March 2020, was teasing the reopening date sometime in the week of July 11 on social media. More info (probably) soon on Instagram.

Jester King Beer The twelfth batch launches from Atrial Rubicite, which recently won a gold medal in the Belgian Fruit Beer category at the 2022 Beer World Cup. To celebrate the occasion, the brewery is holding a launch party on July 15, from 12 noon to 9 pm. Raspberry beer and snacks will be available for purchase, along with live music, tattoos by No Good Tattoo, a scavenger hunt, and a tour with founder Jeffrey Stuffings. Speaking of fruit beer, blue owl brewing Austenite advocates getting away from the heat and enjoying beer floats, sticking to the roots. Professor Black is a sour cherry stout that is usually only available in fall and winter, and Tangerina is a vanilla and tangerine flavored milkshake. Blue Owl already uses milk sugar (lactose) to soften its drinks, so a scoop of ice cream isn’t far off. Follow the July 17 event on Facebook, or just attend.

Whether you’re mastering yoga and need a new challenge, or need an actual kick in the pants to get started, Trudy Del Mar I have generously hired some baby goats to start things off on July 17th.
