Located in the pulsating heart of Surfers Paradise, we’ve found the perfect spot for the ultimate fun day out. Think: epic games, live sports, and the full flavor of foodies. So where can you find this wonderful spot? Located on the corner of Surfers Paradise Boulevard and Cavill Mall, Paradise Center features a 100m frontage facing the world famous Surfers Paradise Beach. Home to over 90 stores, outdoor dining and a bustling entertainment hub, gather your crew and make the tracks here steady.
Not sure where to start? We’ve picked the best things to eat, see and do in Paradise Center. Let the fun begin.
Take your taste buds on a trip around the world
Although we haven’t been able to travel abroad much in the past couple of years, luckily you can take a world tour with Paradise Center’s fantastic selection of restaurants. Start on the Amalfi Coast in Love Italy. Homemade dough is made 24 hours a day using flour sourced from an Italian mill, then hand-stretched and loaded with fresh toppings. It’s like tasting a slice of Italy. On the menu you’ll also find delicious, melt-in-your-mouth pasta (the Tartufo ravioli is a must) and desserts like the Nutella pizza and tiramisu. Feel the luck of the Irish at Kitty O’Shea’s Restaurant & Bar. Grab a seat outside and watch the world go by as you step into a beef patty and bowl of Guinness, lamb shanks and cigarettes and mash. When the temperature drops, head inside and relax by the roaring fire while sipping a pint of beer and listening to traditional Irish music. Finally, take a trip to Asia with all you can eat Korean barbecue at Shila Korean Restaurant and sip on taro juice and Taiwanese black tea at Gong Cha.
Bring nostalgia to the past with this great game
With over 300 arcade games, you’ll lose hours in Timezone while unleashing the competitive side. Once you’ve made your way through – and hopefully a giant stuffed toy – there’s also Glow in the Dark Golf to contend with, bumper cars to contend with and a new Laser Tag arena not for the faint-hearted. Make sure to set aside some time at Zone Bowling, too. There are 12 all-new interactive lanes that you can customize with your own colorful lighting and special effects. After the games are over, you can fuel up at the on-site café and bar that serves tall milkshakes, burgers, pizza, and fries dipped in sticky cheese. Finally, Jurassic Park fans should check out Holoverse Dinosaur World, the world’s first 3D dinosaur adventure. Enjoy 10 different experiences such as feeding a Brontosaurus, flying with Pterodactyls, or going underwater.
Catch the best live sports shows
Is there anything better than soaking up the sun, sipping on a cold drink and watching the latest live sports on the big screen? Entertaining the locals, the popular Surfers Paradise Beer Garden since 1925 is a GC icon and totally worth a visit during your trip to Paradise Center. With 18 large screens to ensure you don’t miss a single event, you’ll be able to watch the latest UFC, NFL and rugby games. After the game, check out the open-air wrap around the bar and terrace overlooking Cavill Mall and catch a recap of the all-new menu – Jim Beam Bourbon BBQ Glazed Ribs and classic Parmi are top notch. But our favorite part? adult playground. With Astroturf under your feet and open skies above, you and your crew can play Giant Jenga and Connect Four, plus Foot-Pool and Shufl — all with beer in hand, of course.
Get a Sweet Tooth Fix
If you are a fan of all things sugary, then you are in the right place, because Paradise Center is full of sweet treats to try. First, head to Ben & Jerry’s and work your way through 21 flavor bombs. Pro tip: Order Half Baked, a delicious combination of chocolate and vanilla ice cream mixed with bits of cookie dough and fudge brownie. Next, head to the cobbled streets of Paris with a visit to Crêpe Addict where you can smash fluffy pancakes topped with Nutella, cream and fruit. And to have something to take home with you, be sure to stop in at All Sorts of Sweets. Here you will find shelves full of fun from all over the world. Get a sugar rush with American candy bars (a must-have Baby Ruth bars), acid drips and flying saucers from the UK, salty licorice from Europe and pineapple blocks from New Zealand.
While you are in it…
