Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe – How to Make Buffalo Chicken Dip

We all know that watching the Super Bowl is another excuse to gobble up as much buffalo chicken as possible. We love to eat it inside a casserole, sandwiched between two cakes, or as straight wings, dipped in a spicy buttery sauce. But if we’re really being honest, the buffalo chicken dip might be the ultimate version of the classic Super Bowl party.

why? Everyone loves to swim well, and if you’re the one making the Super Bowl apps, you probably also love that they’re quick and easy to make. (This recipe only takes 10 minutes to put together, although if you want to make it easier, you can choose to make it in your slow cooker.) Read on to get the scoop on the best way to make and serve these delicious appetizers.

What kind of chicken should I use?

We love using store-bought grilled chicken (it’s quick, convenient, and super tasty!) but you can also boil chicken breasts at home and shred them if you prefer.

Which type of cheese works best?

Cheddar is our goal, but Gouda and Fontina would also work just fine.

Should I add blue cheese?

100% optional. We love the way the taste of rich dipping cheese shines, but we also know blue cheese haters exist. . . And at the end of the day you are the one who eats it, so you decide!

How do I thicken this dip?

This dip is topped with cream cheese. We recommend using full fat for the best texture and flavour. If you use the full amount called for in the recipe, the dip should be quite thick – but if you want to thicken it more, you can always add a few tablespoons of cream cheese.

What can i eat with buffalo chicken sauce?

everything. I’m just kidding! (Somewhat). We love serving this dip with chips, crackers, French toast, and raw vegetables—especially carrots and carrots. But honestly, we just ate it straight with a spoon. No judgment.

How do I save it?

If you have leftovers, you can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Can I do this early?

definitely! For best results, we recommend collecting the dip in your baking dish (you can even put cheese on top) and then store in the refrigerator, completely covered. When you want to serve it, just put it in the oven and you’ll have a delicious treat on the table in less than 30 minutes!
