NEW YORK, Maine – Stonewall Kitchen continues to expand its reach into the kitchen and home goods market as the company announced the introduction of 62 new types of aioli, sauces, flavored coffee and other items.
New Parmesan Garlic and Jalapeño Bacon Cheese Aioli, as well as first-flavor coffee from the Vermont Coffee Company recently acquired by Stonewall, are among a variety of new items that will hit shelves this year at Stonewall stores.
The company, which started at local farmers markets 31 years ago, now owns nine different brands that also include Village Candle and Michel Design Works, a number of which have been acquired in the past two years.
Also coming to Stonewall’s shelves will be the new Chimichurri Grille Sauce, Hickory Brown Sugar Grille Sauce, and Honey Hot Wing Sauce that Stonewall Vice President of Marketing and Sales Janine Somers said is perfect for summer barbecues.
She said the new cucumber dill sauce puts “a refreshing twist on those bright summer salads.”
Stonewall’s salsa line will also get the new Pickle de Gallo – a traditional pico de gallo mixed with what Somers described as the “upward trend of pickles.”
Stonewall’s Vermont Coffee Company is expanding its range with a new line of flavored coffees including Rich Vanilla, Roasted Hazelnut and Sweet Maple.
Stonewall Kitchen is also introducing a new Java coffee cake mix with Espresso Glaze, which makes an easy-to-prepare dessert with “an abundance of smooth coffee flavour,” the company said.
Moving outside the kitchen items, customers will find new Luminary sets from Village Candle that feature a unique packaging design inspired by the luminous bags that often line aisles for a glowing effect. Somers said the designs of each candle tell a unique seasonal story and create a beautiful, luminous glow.
“We take this experience indoors with festive fragrances,” Summers said. “Our guests will simply love the warmth and liveliness of this entire collection.”
More than just jam:Stonewall Kitchen has opened a new home goods store in York headquarters
An important year for Stonewall Kitchen
This has been a significant year for Stonewall Kitchen, which opened the Stonewall Home Company Store in April on its York campus on Route 1. The campus also features the company’s flagship store, a café, and a garden with Adirondack chairs. Stonewall’s marketing director Matt Robertson said at the time that they wanted to have a separate store to keep Stonewall Kitchen stores safe.

Stonewall Kitchen was founded in 1991 by Jonathan King and Jim Stott, who started out selling jams and jellies at local farmers markets. Their approach included a delicious range of high quality products, and over time they expanded their brand to include sauces, condiments, biscuits and bread mixes. Today, their brand products are sold throughout North America.
Stonewall moved into the home goods market around 2018 at a time when it was considering acquiring more brands. In 2020, they acquired Village Candle, then Michel Design Works and Vermont Coffee Company in 2021.

Summers said growth through acquisitions has allowed Stonewall to expand with new items. Other additions include the award-winning Michel’s Pumpkin, Christmas Bouquet and White Spruce Candles, plus Legal Sea Foods Down East Bloody Mary Mixer and a seasonal Ice Berry collection of candles, lotions, and soaps.
“With our growing family of brands, we are now able to offer even more interesting flavors, great fragrances and great designs across different categories,” Summers said.
