Ice Cream Jubilee was born in Navy Yard and celebrates his birthday on National Ice Cream Day.
To celebrate both occasions, you can get free ice cream at the Yards Park location from noon to 2 p.m. on Sundays.
If you’re a member of the Ice Cream Jubilee loyalty club, look for a coupon to get a free scoop.

Kiloins Half Street

The Kilwins location near Nationals Park will offer a free dose of any flavored ice cream in a plate or cake that comes from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.

The first 50 guests to arrive can get free ice cream. The store is scheduled to open at 11 am. If you arrive later, you can search for raffles within the store.

Dolcezza and Colada Shop

A special limited-edition flavor of Italian-style Gelateria Dolcezza and the colorful Cuban Colada Shop was launched on Sunday to celebrate National Ice Cream Day.
“This is a collision between guava jam and pastilletto flaky guava pastillettos at Colada’s and Dolcezza cream cheese gelato,” a Colada Pastellito spokesperson said.
You can get scoops of Dolcezza stores or cookie sandwiches stuffed with Colada Pastelito at Colada Shop locations Sunday through Labor Day. A portion of the proceeds will go to Sister Song.

Michelin-certified Honeymoon Chicken creates ice cream bars that look a lot like our signature fried chicken.
Vanilla Bourbon Honeymoon Ice Cream Bars will be available starting Sunday, July 17, at the Petworth location as well as a roaming cart. The first 50 people in the cart can say “Happy National Ice Cream Day” to get a free bar. The locations will be announced on Instagram.
