Frankie Martin’s Garden, a new food truck park in Missouri, has announced its opening Friday, July 1. Frankie Martin’s Garden has a similar family-friendly atmosphere as Missouri’s first 9 Mile Garden for food trucks. The park itself features a 26-inch LED wall for sports and entertainment, a staging area for food trucks, and a 2,400-square-foot beer pavilion with the best craft breweries in the country. There are also several shaded picnic tables, pergolas, and suites throughout the property as well as a pickle ball court, sand volleyball court, and a wine and whiskey bar.
“It was an exciting experience to open the first food truck park in Missouri with 9 Mile Garden to now open a second garden in the heart of Cutleville,” says Brian Hardesty, restaurateur and managing partner at Frankie Martin Garden. “Being able to bring everything our first park owned and more to Cottleville is a huge honor, and we can’t wait for the community to see all we have to offer.”
The food truck park is named in honor of Frank J. Martin, a late resident of Cutleville, on the 2.74-acre site. In his former 770-square-foot residence there is a great whiskey and wine bar with seating inside and a patio in the back. The menu contains more than 230 whiskeys and a large selection of fine wines, both from around the world. Bottles of wine will be available for purchase to take out to the garden or to bring home to enjoy with friends and family.
Open seven days a week, Frankie Martin’s Garden hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for dinner. There will also be brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Some of the best food trucks from around the greater St. Louis area will be served, showcasing different cuisines. Frankie Martin’s current lineup includes Garden Angie Burger, Aristocrab Company, Beast Craft BBQ, Cluck Oink Moo, The Crooked Boot, Daddy O’s Cheese Steaks, Doggie Mac’s, Homestyle Grill, Lion’s Choice, Mother’s on Wheels, Moving Munchies, Scoops and more, and SNS Goodies, Soul Burger, Supersmokers, Sweet Side, This N’ Eatery, Truck Norris, Ukraft, Wayno’s, Wok N’ Roll, Zacchi and Zia’s among others will be announced. The daily menu will be posted to Frankie Martin’s Garden social media channels by 10am each day.
In addition to serving food trucks, Frankie Martin Park will host an exciting array of free events. Mondays and Thursdays feature trivia music from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the park will have live music from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
In addition to regular service hours, guests can also host events at Frankie Martin’s Garden and reserve areas in the garden for private gatherings. The 16″ x 16″ suites and pergolas can be booked for four hours. Other rental areas are the 50-person picnic table area, the 100-person large beer suite and the whiskey and wine house can also be booked by calling Frankie Martin’s Garden. Six pickleball courts will be available for rent, including paddles and balls, and a sand volleyball court on site will be booked free of charge.
Another feature with Frankie Martin’s Garden will be a new membership club. Locals will have the opportunity to join the Cask Club. Cask Club is a membership in which a whiskey locker is provided in the house to keep their favorite bottles closed for use in the garden. They also get special whiskey and wine rates, a special whiskey glass, a free birthday pour, and an exclusive email newsletter. Each year, members get a free bottle of their choice from one of Frankie Martin’s many barrel selections, all for $65 a month.
Along with Larry Chapman of Seneca Commercial Real Estate and Brian Hardesty, Managing Partner of Food Truck Gardens, co-owners in the endeavor include Jeff and David Kolb of Kolb Grading LLC, Tom Mohan of Chapman Ventures LLC, and Michael and Kate Ritter of Cottleville Ventures, LLC.
