It might not be a bad idea to get grooving to a few beats while whisking or having a lively track in the background while waiting for the furnace beep. In fact, music makes everything more interesting. It can even refresh the exhausting wait for the baked dessert to finish. The music streaming apps that are available now give you an option to find music that matches your mood in a quick search.
Setting up playlists to set the mood for your run or workout session is nothing new. But having a playlist titled “POV: You Bee” or “If Ben Stiller’s Delivery of “You’ve Had a Tough Year, Dad” Is a Playlist” is a little unorthodox.
Oddly enough, set playlists have become a norm as streaming music has gained popularity (eg: “POV: You buy a carton of eggs at the supermarket but one of them cracks”).
now spotify The user has taken their cooking playlist to the next level – by putting an entire recipe into it. User “Alienaliart” found the playlist on the microblogging site tumblr which she then recreated on Spotify.
The playlist is titled “I’ll Make Banana Bread” and begins with 2021 BTS bop “Butter”. Butter soon follows the path of “Milk” by The 1975 and “Sugar” for Maroon 5. If you step back further, you’ll notice a pattern. It’s not an ordinary playlist, but rather the complete recipe for making banana bread. The user lists all the ingredients required to make the treatment using the song titles. By the time your playlist hits the tenth track, song titles become steps to prepare. The song “360°” has been ingeniously placed by the user by Push Button Objects to indicate the oven temperature required for baking banana bread.
But the story does not end there. The user continues to tell the tragic fate of Banana Bread through the songs once the setting is over. Apparently the bread was too hot when they tried to take it out and they had to “drop it like it was hot”. Then an embarrassed user decides to go to the store and get banana bread. They finished the playlist with Riarosa’s “Better Than Nothing” and “I guess?” by Elias.
Although the user has not been so lucky in baking adventures, that does not mean that you will be. This playlist is the perfect inspiration to try homemade banana bread. Even if you forget to add some ingredients, the songs in it will remind you. Just grab some thick gloves to wring the hot bread out of the oven to avoid the playlist maker’s fate.
