I’m a huge Dollar Tree fan – 15 things you shouldn’t buy from the chain right now that everything costs $1.25

Shoppers at TONS of Dollar Tree are disappointed by the fact that items are no longer worth a dollar.

Now that Dollar Tree items cost $1.25 a piece, there are a few things you might consider buying at other stores instead.

YouTuber and bargain shopper Liz Fenwick posted a video highlighting 15 items people should stop buying at the popular discount store after the price hike.

She says, “Today, I’m going to share with you the things I don’t think you should buy at Dollar Tree.

“And I will show you a better choice of where you should pick these items.”

One item sold at the Dollar Tree that you’d be better off buying at Dollar General, Liz says, is the solar lights.

She explains: “Now that prices are $1.25, it’s not the cheapest for this model [from Dollar Tree] Any more than that.”

Next, Liz talks about three items you should buy on Amazon instead of the Dollar Tree.

I mentioned charging cords, screwdrivers, and foam brushes.

And about charging cables, Liz says:[Charging cords] The Dollar Tree is not of high quality. They will break very quickly.”

It tells its viewers that it would be better for them to buy these items on Amazon for better quality at reasonable cost.

Liz also separates items that must be purchased at Walmart instead of the Dollar Tree.

Some of these items include plastic food storage containers, baking mixes, and Dawn dish soap.

Also, remember to buy ramen noodles, candy boxes, and Ziploc bags at Walmart instead.

Walmart is the place to go for basic glassware and wine glasses at a cheaper price compared to the Dollar Tree too.

“I love the Dollar Tree glassware, but if you’re going to pick up like basic clear glasses, you’ll want to get them at Walmart for less than a dollar.”

There are two items Liz thinks Dollar Tree shoppers should head to Target for combination notebooks and spiral bound notebooks.

“You’ll spend $1.25 on the Dollar Tree compared to the goal where you’ll only spend $1,” she says.

Finally, Liz advises her followers to shop Bath & Body Works for candles instead of the Dollar Tree.

“I prefer getting my candles at Bath & Body Works. You’ll get more scent,” she explains, referring to the quality of the candle.
