Remove your hat for this annual event in Oak Cliff to celebrate the storming of the Bastille during the French Revolution. Although roaming at the event is free, if you buy a general admission ticket for $35, you’ll get a glass of wine, which is a “must have” to consume alcoholic beverages at the festival. You will also get tokens that can be exchanged for beer or wine. Lots of sellers and popups will sell their wares, which costs more. Who knew hot dogs could be so much fun? Literally, we ask. We hear differently. The Martin House Brewing Company is hosting Glizzy Fest this weekend with a John Cougar Mellencamp cover band (“Suckin’ on a chili dog, out Tastee-Freeze”), food carts, a sausage-eating contest, craft vendors, and a special Seltzer launch contest. . Martin House is bringing a special collection of Best Maid Pickle Mustard Beer for the occasion along with hot water seltzer. The coolest thing here – and there are a lot – is that the only musical theme Martin House could match this event was a JCM cover band built on this one line. bless them. But not a hot dog seltzer.

Community Beer Ride: July Tour

There’s room for every type of beer drinker with a cycling problem at Community Beer this weekend. Most importantly, there will be cold beer. Three separate trails are available for a biking trip in July: a party group of 12.5 miles, an intermediate group of 26.5 miles, and a spandex group of 41 miles. Participants must bring helmets, feeding and water with space for a beer at the end. Or go to the brewery for a cold beer in the air conditioner. Nothing wrong with that.
