McDonald’s India is launching “Burrraaahh” in its latest campaign created by DDB Mudra India, for its newly launched Butter and Butter grilled burgers. The light and whimsical advertising film shows the customers’ excitement, which is expressed through a hearty ‘burr’, when they first try these burgers.
The movie begins with three friends standing in line to place their orders when one of them goes to “Burrrahh” while scanning the menu at Mc Donald’s Restaurant. Guest service staff at the counter respond with enthusiastic and reassuring “burrraah” and place the order. The film then focuses on a father and son duo enjoying their meal in a restaurant and noticing it all the time, curious and excited to understand the expression everyone shares.
Rajiv Ranjan, Chief Operating Officer, McDonald’s India – North & East said: “Burrrahh is the way our guests in North India express how they feel when they feel excitement, joy and exhilaration together. Our new advertising film perfectly captures the emotions our guests feel while eating their grilled, buttery burgers. “
The tasting palette of these grilled burgers is inspired by the world-famous Makhani cuisine of North India. We are sure these burgers will make our customers go for “burgers”.
“Punjabi foodies will instinctively fall in love with McDonald’s new butter chicken and grilled burgers,” said Iraj Faraz Patla, Creative Director – North, DDB Mudra. “And just as you go “Ooh-la-la” to try a beautiful French wine, or “Bravo!” when TASTE THE ORIGINAL ITALIAN PIZZA – When we took our first bite of the new burger, we instinctively went, “Burrraahh!” Through the movie, we wanted to show the same happiness we had while enjoying the new burger. You’re sure to go “Burrraaahh!” when you try it.”
Inspired by local Indian flavours, McDonald’s India North & East recently launched their grilled butter chicken burger and paneer. The burgers are available across McDonald’s restaurants in North and East India* through in-house dining, takeaway and drive-through delivery through the McDonald’s app and via McDelivery (including Swiggy, Zomato and Magic Pin).
