National Harbor: Speakeasy at Bond 45


By chance, are you looking for a new place to go for drinks and a show? Even dinner and a show? Perhaps a private group outing, something out of the ordinary, if not out of character, and on the outskirts of town – though not too out of the way?

Well, if you’re interested in massive outrageous entertainment on the border, consider a trip to National Harbor and the Sunset Room at Bond 45 waterfront Italian restaurant any July weekend.

Spikezi It is promoted as “an all-encompassing immersive blend experience that combines the worlds of circus, illusion, farce and musical theater with an upscale cocktail ride.”

Broadway producer and director Holly-Ann Devlin launched the first iteration of a supper club-style show last summer at the popular Bond 45 in New York’s Theater District, where shows will run through the remainder of 2021.

Now, Devlin and her company, Kaleidoscope Immersive, have teamed up with the restaurant’s parent company, Fireman Hospitality Group, to bring the show to its National Harbor branch.

Directed by Devlin with choreography by Michael Vatika (Beetlejuice), Spikezi Featuring a large group of artists, including Broadway Annelise Baker (small coarse grain), Madison O’Connor (Radio City Rockettes), and Nichelle Lewis (hairspray), singing comic opera Gaga, dancer/choreographer The Karma Stylz of HBO Max’s legendaryinternational acrobat artist Chen Lei, tap dancer Brian Davis (After midnight), and served as the Lady of Ceremonies, Jada Temple from Oscar in the crownAn immersive, eccentric nightclub in Brooklyn.

Broadway “special guest stars” are expected during the race.

Meanwhile, the “magical mix” portion of the evening includes a five-cocktail ride with garnishes from Bond 45.

For an additional fee, guests can also enjoy a three-course meal taken from the Bond 45 menu.

Weekends through July 31 are held at The Sunset Room at 137 National Plaza in Maryland.

Tickets, including cocktail and appetizer cruise, are $99, or $129 for VIPs who add a VIP meet and greet, $179 for dinner and show, with three pre-selected items added after the show, and $199 for “Girls Night Out” :” Add a bottle of champagne.
