New in Colton
We’ve been watching Happy Boy Tacos & Mariscos whenever we’ve traveled through Reche Canyon in Colton, and it finally opened, with a slight twist.
El Mushasho Alegre, a play on the phrase “happy boy”, has now opened. In spanish: “el muchacho alegre. “
The restaurant serves a variety of Mexican food, including tacos and seafood.
Opening hours are 10:45 AM to 9 PM from Monday to Thursday and 10:45 AM to 10 PM from Friday to Sunday.
El Mushasho Alegre is located at 2671 Reche Canyon Road, on the site of what was once Canyon Cottage Restaurant.
Open in San Bernardino
A new Mexican restaurant has also opened in San Bernardino.
Rancho Alegre is now open at 1987 Diners Court.
The location has been home to several restaurants and nightclubs over the years, including 20/20 Bar and Grill, Margarita Beach, 340 East and if memory serves, Pig’s Ear Pub.
The restaurant’s Facebook page states that it is a “Mexican restaurant serving modern Mexican food, seafood, steaks and pastas. Full bar: cocktails, margaritas and micheladas.”
The Facebook page also says it offers live entertainment at events.
Now in the Moreno Valley
The Buffalo Spot, which serves boneless chicken wings, salads, wraps, and “world-famous” French fries, continues to expand into the Inland Empire.
New location recently opened at 12515 Frederick Street, Suite A1, Moreno Valley.
Opening hours are from 10 AM to 10:30 PM daily.
It is the series’ fifth Inland Empire location, after locations in Riverside, Chino Hills, Colton, and Rialto.
Get the hot chicken
The hot chicken craze has finally arrived at the cheese slice.
Philly’s Best Cheesesteaks Summer with Nashville Hot Chicken Cheesesteaks.
As with the remaining cheese slices at Philly’s Best, Nashville Hot Cheesesteaks are made to order on a flat grill with melted American cheese and wrapped in authentic Amoroso rolls brought from the East Coast.
The spicy filling can also be used to add to string salads or cheese steak fries.
Inland Empire Philly’s top locations include Ontario, Chino, Mira Loma, and San Dimas.
