Nutrimuscle reveals the most popular TikTok recipes of 2022, from pasta feta to pizza toast

TikTok is where the most ridiculous trends and some of the tastiest recipes begin.

Supplement brand Nutrimuscle has compiled a list of the most popular dishes to take the video app by storm, from feta pasta to salmon dishes.

Not only did the French supplement company research viral diets to see which ones we can’t get enough of, but they also investigated how good these dishes were for us, too.

The brand enlisted the company’s nutritionist to watch the videos and score each one out of 10 on nutritional value, making them healthy to unhealthy.

“The rise of food trends on social media like ‘FoodTok’ has encouraged younger generations to get into the kitchen and learn to cook meals from scratch, which is healthier than relying on ready meals and fast food,” says Alex Barin, certified nutritionist. , and a personal trainer.

Alex added, “It’s an easy and convenient way to find new recipes and for many young people, visual aid in seeing how a dish is made and what it should look like increases their chances of long-term success. Not only that, but the most prevalent food trends are also those that use simple, accessible ingredients, which can be vital in the cost-of-living crisis we are currently experiencing.”

There’s plenty of room to make your own oats and enjoy a healthy meal full of flavor and fibre.

Perfect for a pre-workout meal, it’s linked to lower cholesterol and insulin response as well as increasing the number of “good” bacteria in your gut, according to Nutrimuscle.

3. Pesto eggs

After this delicious pesto egg recipe went viral, UK supermarket pesto sales increased by 108%.

Eggs are a natural breakfast dish and are the perfect post-workout snack with a great source of protein as well as many vitamins and minerals.
