Rogers, Ark (KNWA/KFTA) – Artists, musicians, dancers, pioneers, marketing and hospitality professionals gather at downtown Rogers’ Art at Brick Arts Walk this Thursday, July 14.
According to a press release, the Art on the Bricks Art Walk on July 14 features artists, musicians, dancers and other creators “cutting it together” as they navigate through and out of the pandemic. The ‘Destination Center’ is the theme of the event that welcomes professionals in the travel and tourism industry.
Visit Rogers hosts their annual Tourism Talk at Butterfield Stage, 101 E. Cherry Street with leaders in the hospitality, travel and tourism industry at 3:00 pm followed by a program at 3:30 pm. This event is held in partnership with City of Rogers and features a Butterfield Stage and live music by Music Moves.
Dance with me Studio by Aura collaborates with guests from the Eureka Springs theater and event venue to present live music and dance at Railyard Park. Aura Maurice-Figueroa will offer dance performances, free dance lessons, and refreshments starting at 4:30 p.m., then joined by two members of the nationally recognized performing arts company from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Founded in 1962, The Young American is a charitable organization dedicated to promoting understanding and goodwill among people around the world through music, dance, performance, academic education, and cultural interaction between student members and their audiences. Celebrating their 60th anniversary with performances in Northwest Arkansas, Jenna Noir and Tanner Hudson give a preview of their musical theater dinner and dance productions scheduled September 9-October 29 at Center Stage Event Venue in Eureka Springs.
The two members of the Young American Performance Team will accompany Dance With Me Studio by Aura during Art on the Bricks Art Walk followed by a pop-up show at Hapa’s Hawaiian Bar & Grill later that evening.
Members of the North American Public Relations Association West gather at the Into + View Art Gallery and Studio from 4:30 to 6 p.m. to meet fellow communications professionals, see fine art, and enjoy a free drink. Members will hear and connect with Kinya Christian, artist and CEO of Into + View, and Karen Wagaman, Vice President of Downtown Development in the Rogers-Lowell District Chamber of Commerce. Then they spread out to visit additional galleries and pop-up galleries throughout downtown Rogers.
The Rogers Arkansas Supper Club is a casual group of foodies who appreciate art that formed just three months ago. They welcome others from the community to join them every second Thursday to make new friends while visiting local galleries and enjoying dinner together during Art on the Bricks Art Walk.
