This week there’s no central theme of underground weekend dining, but there’s actually plenty to do.

There are quite a few foodie-focused festivals that are quite noticeable. We at @punkfoodie.atl are having a little Punk Foodie Festival at @scofflawbeer (on MacArthur) on Saturday with 8 pop-up chefs tossing a variety of dishes including Reuben Okonomiyaki, Filipino sous vide pork belly, Cubanos with Coca-Cola glazed melt pork and soup Chicken pasta among many other options. On Sunday @biteofkorea hosts the O4W Mini Food Fest with @fidelasstreetkitchen (Latin), coffynpyes (savory pancakes), and @gorditasatl (Mexican). This is BBK’s last small food festival as they are ‘graduating’ with their Tucker location opening later this summer (cool!), although the festival is expected to continue by others in the near future.

Also on Sunday, stolengoodsatl Collective will be holding a Sunday Cooking Party (by ticket) at the new event space westside_motor_lounge with a full lineup of great chefs including @bryanfurmanbbq, chefscotleyinnis and James Beard Award @cafeclaudia.atl. This event is definitely worth checking out.
