A new restaurant in downtown Marion offers plenty of smoothies, sandwiches, and salads that not only taste good, but are good for you, too.

Reese’s Delectables and Nourishments will officially open on Thursday, July 21, but it’s now open to five patrons. This new business is located at 82 S. Main St. Next to Bubbly’s and Artesana Artisan Ice Cream. His motto is “Where the food is delicious”.

Reese’s Delectables offers four different types of juice and five different types of juice. Beneath the sandwiches are Keepin’ It Simple Bagel, Build a Breakfast Sandwich, Amazing Avocado Toast, Jammin’ Turkey, Camari’s Caprese and Papa Jeff’s Roast Beef. You can choose seven different types of dishes. For salads, there is Encanto, Nectar Garden, King Caesar and Master Chef. They also offer different types of foods such as vegan pasta and cheese.

The company is owned by Audrey Reese and her two daughters, Dyer and Amber Reese. Audrey Reese has owned and operated a delicious little sandwich for nearly 20 years. They moved to Marion from Charlotte as a way to get out of the big city and live more simply in the mountains.

“Here we focus more on smoothies, fresh juices and more nutrients,” she said.

With their new restaurant, Reeses feel they’re offering something a little different to downtown Marion.

“We offer juices that are made with real fruit and contain no artificial flavors,” said Dire Reese. “We also want to offer more options for dietary needs, including for people who are intolerant to dairy. We offer gluten and dairy-free products.”

The Reeses operate their new restaurant with the help of four employees: Justin Irvin, Tinsley Wiseman, Tiffanie Bailey and Merrick Semple.

Reese’s Delectables and Nourishments is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is open from 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday and from 7 am to 6 pm on Saturday.

“We wanted to make nutritious items for people on the go so they can have something nutritious to take and go on an active day,” said Audrey Reese.

Even before the grand opening, this new place got some positive feedback from customers who checked out.

“Reese’s Delectables and Nourishing have the best fresh juices and fresh juices and you have to choose sandwich/bowl or salad!!!! You will not be let down!” Steven Kyndra Hames wrote on Facebook.

“I can’t believe the support of this community,” Audrey Reese said.

“Ronda has been instrumental in helping us get started,” said Audrey Reese. “She helped us find this place and helped us get started. She is the best realtor in the county.”
