Back to the refreshment site for the 2022 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival is a traditional Kenyan dish – Spicy Githeri. Similar to chili, this dish is accompanied by grains, quinoa, and fresh ketchumbari salad.

Spicy Jetty – $4.75
With White Beans, Peas, Original Ben’s Quinoa, Ancient Grains, and Ketchumbari Slaw
The flavor taste in this dish is similar to hot pepper. It’s a compact dish for the price, making it one of the best vegetarian options at the festival. The flavor of chili permeates all the vegetables, and it would be great if they had their own flavor. The vegetables are soft rather than crunchy, and the dish is a little spicy. It is especially burdened with cumin. While there is nothing necessarily wrong with this dish, we like to head to Sana’a for African-inspired food, and enjoy other festival options.
Copperpoint Brewing Company Key Lime Kölsch, Boynton Beach, Florida (5.5% ABV) – $10.75
3 Daughters Allspice Hard Cider, Saint Petersburg, FL (5.5% ABV) – $10.75
From Correspondence with 3 Brewing Girls: “This spice is everything beautiful. Light cider is complemented by the flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and black pepper in a perfect fall drink.”
81Bay Brewing Co. Ltd. Nairobi Coffee Dark Beer, Tampa, FL (6.0% ABV) – $10.75
From a correspondence with 81Bay Brewing Co: “The Nairobi Coffee Porter has all the rich roasted and semi-sweet chocolate we love in this style of beer with subtle elements of fruit and berries that come from the coffee itself.”
