After a nearly year-long renovation, the Nashville Community Club was officially opened for business.
The building has housed many restaurants throughout its history, but many have found it difficult to use the full space offered by the site. However, this is not the case with the new Nashville Social Club. Inside, patrons will find dining areas, stages, multiple bars, a living room-style sunroom, concert hall, VIP area and much more.
The theme of the restaurant is Nashville, and owners John Procacchini and Kitty MacKay have faithfully thrown themselves in, creating a modern, upscale Southern vibe with a subtle stream of rock ‘n’ roll history woven throughout. Indeed, diners can walk through a portico of memorabilia, snap a rock ‘n’ roll photo at the selfie station, or head to Swan Music Hall for a show.
Patrons can also see a Nashville-themed mural completed by local artist Tony Jackson of Rice Street Tattoo.
“The enthusiasm, support and excitement from our community has been so exciting,” McKay told Carson City Room Manager Ronnie Hanman while cutting the final ribbon at the restaurant. From this place and the way our food, our liveliness and hospitality during the soft opening were received beyond our dreams. We are thrilled and honored to share the city’s musical spirit with the coolest people on the planet. We love you Northern Nevada! “
The Swan is still under construction indoors, but will have a main concert hall as well as a VIP area.
The August concerts are booked on “Soft Note Stage” from 5 PM to 8 PM and include:
- July 14 and 21 and August 4: Darren Sen
- July 15-22: Kingwhistler
- July 16: Jennifer Grant
- July 20, August 3 and 31: Greg Gilmore
- July 27 and 28: Daryl Wayne Dasher
There are two menus on offer at the Nashville Social Club, one serving lunch and dinner, and one serving Sunday brunch.
On the general menu, diners will find Southern-inspired fare such as Nashville Hot Chicken with Honey Hot, chicken and waffles, gourmet Mac-N’s, all kinds of fried green tomatoes, biscuits, pork chops, and more, along with traditional fare such as pizza, salads, burgers and more.
The Sunday Brunch, which takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offers several types of eggs Benedict, French crème brûlée toast, egg muffins, mac n cheese, pizza, or your own brunch with traditions like eggs, sausage and fruit.
The Nashville Social Club is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays.
