When we start planning a Costco trip, it’s important to make a list. Other than that, it’s very easy to load our carts with items we never planned to buy. The first item on our list? “Anything from Costco’s bakery division.” That way, when we’re done going home with cakes, muffins, and biscuits, we can say hi – they were on the list! Newer should be added to cart item? Costco raspberry cookies, which are back in select stores for a limited time.
We were first alerted to the return of these favorite cookies by CostcoHotFinds on Instagram, who always has the best scoop on new and returning Costco favourites.
The base of the dessert is a sugar-butter cake. In the center is a large amount of preserved pieces of berries, which are sprinkled with crumbs of butter and powdered sugar.
These cookies are the perfect accompaniment to a strong cup of black tea (we love PG’s tips
) or coffee, or you can classically have a glass of milk.
CostcoHotFinds puts its own spin on cookies, heating them in an air fryer
Then cover it with ice cream. Apparently, when you heat them up, they taste like homemade (or even better, depending on your baking skills!).
Costco doesn’t ship their own cookies, so you’ll need a Costco membership to get a bundle of these cookies, which come in a pack of 12 for $9.99.
If you’re worried that you won’t be able to finish all 12 cookies before they’re old (who are you?), you’ll be glad to know that they seem to freeze beautifully. It’s also good to know if you love these cookies as much as we do — buy a few packets and store them in the freezer to have on hand the next time you feel a craving.
