A viral TikTok video showed Crème brûlée fans that they can make the dessert at home using three ingredients.
Montreal-based food content creator Anthony Khoury shared the easy recipe on January 23, on his TikTok account, titled I’m Not A Chef. The video has already crossed 15 million views on all of the video sharing.
Everything you need to make a three-ingredient creme brulee in an ice cream with vanilla bean, eggs, and melted sugar.

“I’m not the creator of this recipe, and I don’t know who actually did,” Khoury told Fox News Digital. “I was brainstorming videos with my brother, and he told me he had made the recipe two months ago. I thought it would be a great idea, and that was great.”
In a bowl, Khoury mixes the scoops of liquid ice cream and broken eggs in a one-to-one ratio and whisks the contents together before pouring the creme brulee mixture into the ramekins. Then he puts the dishes in a pan filled with water and bakes the desserts in a 325 F oven for 25 minutes. When the creme brulee has finished baking, it can be put in the refrigerator for two hours.
Far from the creme brulee mixture, khoury dissolves granulated sugar in a pan, and can be made with or without water. Ideally, this step should be done after the creme brulee has cooled.

“The sugar has to be hot when you pour it or else it will freeze when cold,” Khoury told Fox. “You can also sprinkle sugar on the face and set it on fire.”
Once the caramelized crust has reached the level of crispness you desire, a three-ingredient creme brulee can be served.
While creme brulee isn’t Khoury’s favorite dessert, he still describes the recipe’s taste as “love at first bite.”

Thousands of TikTok users expressed their happiness to find an easy creme brulee recipe in Khoury’s post, which has received more than 3.9 million likes.
“Where has this been my whole life in cooking,” wrote one TikTok user. “Number of failures I’ve tried. You should try this now!”
Another user joked, “What did you do? Now I can have creme brulee whenever I want to.” “I’m not ready for that kind of power.”
Crème brûlée is a creamy, burnt dessert that has been around for centuries. France, England, and Spain all claim to be the country where the dessert was first made, but French chef François Macialo is credited with the first printed book of creme brulee, which was published in his 1691 cookbook “Le Cuisinier Royal et Bourgeois.”
