Rest assured, this list is not sponsored or influenced by anyone. All of this is written by locals who spend their time and money experiencing what this city really has to offer.

World Treasures Museum

History, science and the arts

  • No visit to Wichita is complete without a stop at the most famous statue, The Keeper of the Plains.
  • Get a glimpse into life in the 1870s at the Old Cowtown Museum, with daily exhibits and displays.
  • One of the striking 21st-century rooms can be found in Frank Lloyd Wright’s Allen House.
  • Enjoy amazing artwork filling MarkArts or take part in an art or cooking class.
