Unlimited Bolognese at Tuscan Kitchen at Seaport
Throughout the marathon weekend, this trusted Italian eatery in Seaport will offer unlimited Bolognese with free homemade pasta and parmesan to runners wearing a race bib.

Runners’ Dinner at Kestra
Kestra stopped at the Omni Hotel Boston Seaport for a “runner’s dinner” with a burrata and ricotta sacchetti ($27) with lobster arrabbiata and lemon butter. bucatini ($22) with roasted tomatoes, basil, and parmesan; And protein options like chicken thighs kebab, skirt steak and salmon.

Dine on a short rib of Rigatoni in Oak
Located in the Fairmont Copley Plaza, Fairmont Copley Plaza is a beautiful oak bar lined with large chesterfield-style seating that serves a sophisticated pre-race meal. Before the race, dine on a short rib with salty pecorino, an extra carb toppings of bangrato, and a spicy kick of chili flakes ($25). For an evening roast, the restaurant pours the runner-friendly Sam Adams 26.2, a light beer with less alcohol and a dash of salt, on tap. Reservations are available on Opentable.

Homemade Rigatoni at SRV

Noodles at the outpost
Housed in a former police station at Back Bay’s Loews Hotel, Precinct Kitchen & Bar adds springtime tortellini with sun-dried tomato pesto ($22); Rigatoni Bolognese ($22); and Lemon-Garlic Shrimp Linguini ($28) to his menu the night before the big race. Complex carbohydrates at Liberty Hotel
Liberty stacks plates with hand-cut herbal noodles with pork, local burrata, and parmesan ($38); Roasted Shrimp with Udon Noodles and Baby Bok Choy ($39); and pasta and meatballs ($30). Carb loaders can order race specials at Clink, the Liberty Bar, or send them out for in-room dinner service. Runners can silly stuff themselves the night before the race with all you can eat pasta ($26.20 per person) in Pampera. Chef Adam Resnick brews bocatini with puttanesca and parmesan, as well as fusilli with herb-infused cream, roasted mushrooms, peas, and parmesan for the occasion. Maki Marathon on Shore Vacation
While pasta is the perfect carb-loading solution before the big race, rice takes care of the task equally. At Shore Lea, Chef Colin Lynch has added a “marathon roll” to the restaurant’s regular menu of sushi and tropical-themed cocktails.
