Vermont Presbyterian Church offers Sunday School: 9 a.m. on Sundays. Sunday worship service is held at 10 am. Wednesday prayers are offered at 6:30 p.m. and Fairmount celebrates its 200th anniversary this year. Founded in 1822 it has been serving God and society for 200 years.
Vacation Bible School will take place July 18-22 from 6-8 p.m.
The community’s bicentennial celebration will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 23 with food trucks, an El Dorado squad, a fire truck, games, and more.

Summer worship services are held at 8 and 10 a.m. on Sundays.

Siweckley United Methodist Church
The Sewickley United Methodist Church will be holding a peach festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 16 in the church’s fellowship hall. Peach cobbler with ice cream and drinks is $5. Hot dogs, ham sandwiches, chips and drinks will also be available. Everything is available to eat indoors or out.

St. James Church
St. James Fest School will be holding its second annual St. James Festival from July 22-23. This year’s Feast will offer a “Family Fun Friday” from 5-9 p.m. in the school parking lot with kids’ inflatables, games, prizes, kids food tent, and immersion tank. and food trucks. There will be two events on Saturday: a craft and vendor show in the school gymnasium from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a spaghetti dinner in the school cafeteria prepared and presented by the 5367 Knights of Columbus Council from 5-7:30 p.m. It’s $12 each and is available for indoor or outdoor dining. It includes pasta, meatball, salad, wraps, and a drink.

St Stephen’s Anglican Church
Join Summer Cycling – Community Building (and Off) on Two Wheels. Come the first Saturday of every month through October to St. Stephen’s Church at 10 a.m. for bike-related events.
• Every Wednesday during July, the church hosts ‘Praise and Prayers’ services at Grace Commons from 7 to 8 p.m. These will be simple worship services extended through hymns, which include an opportunity to pray with others, personal reflection and brief teachings on the psalms. Childcare (infants up to 5th grade) is provided.
